Description: Bentley provided complete architectural and engineering services for the 19,436 square foot new facility. The civil portion of the project included design of new parking areas, acceleration and deceleration ramps for I-75, retention ponds, a sanitary sewer force main and domestic water connection to the City of Jennings and replacement of the existing retaining abutment at the bridge overpass. The building portion of the project included constructing the new Welcome Center building, new picnic pavilions and renovation of the existing storage shed. The existing Welcome Center remained open during construction activities and was demolished along with the existing sewage treatment plant when the new building was complete.
