Description: For this new office, 38,000 square feet was demolished, and replaced by 60,000 square feet of new offices, conference rooms, emergency operations center, and filing/storage facilities. The project also required the design of new utility connections, drainage, and parking, as well as the coordination of new and existing building structural elements. Bentley provided a phasing plan to assist FDOT in temporarily relocating 160 people to other facilities during the construction phase.
