Bentley History and Development: 2008 – Serving Our Schools

The design of operation centers remains a strong offering of Bentley’s. In 2008, construction was completed on two operation centers: Ponce deLeon for FDOT and the West Altamonte Operations Center for the City of Altamonte Springs.

Expanding on continuing contract experience, Seminole County Public Schools awarded Bentley a continuing engineering contract. This provided the company the opportunity to work for the local school system that serves many children of Bentley employees.

The Roadway Department continued to grow and was awarded its first contract in our local district with the Florida Department of Transportation, District 5, for milling and resurfacing of SR 44 in Sumter County.
