Bentley History and Development: 2005 – A Successful New Delivery Method

In 2005, construction was complete on the I-75 Welcome Center in Hamilton County. This project was a long time coming for Bentley, having done preliminary design studies back in the early 1990s for this facility. This was an important project for Bentley and the Florida Department of Transportation because it was the first project completed using the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. Due to the success of this project, the agency has implemented this delivery method on numerous subsequent projects.

The I-75 Welcome Center was a premier project for Bentley, using all of the company’s service options, including civil engineering, architecture, and structural engineering, for a large-scale project.
