Bentley History and Development: 1991 – A New Name & a New Niche

Bentley designed several MRI rooms for hospitals and care centers in the Northeast.

For marketing purposes, the company changed its name to Bentley Architects + Engineers, Inc. in 1991. It was during this year that the company developed a new market in medical diagnostic facilities. National licenses allowed access to medical projects in the Northeast and New York City area.

Retail and restaurant projects continued to be a part of the company portfolio with the addition of Winn-Dixie Food Stores, Builder Square, Taco Bell, and Pizzeria Uno.

Bentley completed design work for more than 32 Taco Bells in Florida during the early 1990s.
